- 700 g white rice
- 1 tbsp green tea leaves
- 300 ml hot water
- 1 tsp matcha
- 2 tbsp sake
- 1 pinch salt
- Wash the rice. Place the green tea in 200-300 ml of hot water and allow to cool. Then add the matcha and dissolve.
- Add Step 1 together with the sake and salt to the rice cooker. Add enough water to come up to the 2 rice cup line of the rice cooker. Turn it on and cook the rice. While cooking, you’ll smell the aromatic tea fragrance.
- Once the rice cooker has finished, it’s complete.
- Make into an onigiri to add a bit of color to a bento lunch box.
