Today we would like to continue our stroll around Kyoto’s best places. The absolute must-see are:

  1. Nijo-jo — palace in the centre of Kioto. In the past it was an official residence of Tokugawa shogun. Today it’s visited by many tourists, who’d like to check, what the life of wealthy samurai was like.
  2. Kiyomizudera — buddhist temples, which tower over the city. It’s absolutly enthralling – no matter the weather or season.
  3. Arashiyama — it can be found at the West outskirts of Kyoto. It’s famous for its bamboo forest, which is visited mainly during December. Arashiyama is mesmerizing in spring, when the cherry blossoms bloom, as well as in autumn, when everyone can admire momiji leaves.
